With more than 27 years of experience across residential and commercial construction, Matthew leads Carolina Community Builders with a clear vision: deliver exceptional craftsmanship, transparent communication, and a client experience rooted in trust. He sets the strategic direction for the company, drives growth, and ensures every project reflects CCB’s standards of clarity and quality. His leadership centers on empowering the team, strengthening partnerships, and removing obstacles so projects stay on time, on budget, and aligned with client goals.

Matthew began his career framing homes at 18 before expanding into electrical and plumbing trades, managing large commercial portfolios, serving as president of an energy company, and building multiple construction businesses. Known for staying calm under pressure and leading with honesty, he is most proud of the roles that allowed him to mentor others and support their growth. One of his most meaningful projects came after Hurricane Katrina, when he helped rebuild damaged retail locations in just two weeks—coordinating hundreds of workers, generators, and materials to restore essential services to the community.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a focus in Finance, is Six Sigma certified, and has completed specialized leadership and public‑speaking training. At CCB, Matthew is committed to creating an environment where the team thrives and clients feel supported every step of the way.

Originally from Mint Hill, NC, Matthew enjoys spending time with family, shooting sporting clays, and playing with his Jack Russell Terrier, Jax. A lifelong athlete, he played soccer, baseball, football, and basketball—and can still kick a 60‑yard field goal. His guiding principle is simple: Have fun doing what you love, and leave it better than you found it.
